Whether you are here to win it all or just here for the fun, our weekly bags league starts Thursday May 7th! You can register your team online, over the phone or by stopping in.

Every Thursday, you and your partner have the chance to play at 5pm, 6pm or 7pm in a “mini tournament” playing one match of best of three games. There will be 8 spots per hour with payouts at the end of each mini tournament!

Official Rules

  • Distance: 27 feet between boards

    Points: 3 points for bag in the hole, 1 for bag on the board with cancellation scoring.

    FIRST team to 21 (or over 21) wins the game. NO resetting

  • There is a hard stop at 55 minutes, all throwing stops. If a game is still in progress, the current leader wins that game. If it is a tie, throw one “sudden death” shot.

    Reporting: Teams must report their final scores to the organizer immediately

  • Since there is a weekly buy-in, teams can change their players each week! As long as you have 2-4 people & $15, you’re in.

  • Best of 3 Games

    Tie-Breaker #1 — Point Differential: the difference between points scored and points allowed

    Tie-Breaker #2 — Who scored the most points in their hour (Mini Tournament)

  • The Tavern Bags League is. 100% payout venue. Every $15 entry fee goes directly into the winners circle for your mini tournament. If your hour is full house (8 teams), the top prize is a cool $80. If the field is smaller, the cash is scaled so that 1st place always takes home roughly 2/3 of the pot, and 2nd place takes home the remaining 1/3.

FAQ’s

  • Yes! There is lawn space next to the driveway where the bags league will be set up at.

  • We will have hightop tables set up at opposite ends of the driveway.

  • Yes! You may order food & drinks with the designated server for the games as long as they stay within the marked area for bags league. NO outside food & drinks allowed.

  • Yes, there is a $15 buy-in per team, which is used for hourly winning team payouts.

  • Yes! There will be cash payouts for 1st & 2nd Place, and a free round of drinks for 3rd place.
